Coming by car or school bus?

  • From France: coming from Colmar or Paris on the A4 or A35 highway, take the n°4 exit "Kehl - place de l’Etoile ". Drive along RN4 road towards Kehl. On the third traffic-light after the tunnel, turn left into rue Alfred Kastler and follow the direction "Esplanade Robertsau". The Vaisseau will be on your right just before the Danube bridge.

 

  • From Germany: coming from Karlsrhue or Freibourg in Breisgau on the A5 highway, take the exit 54 (U30 junction then B28 junction) and follow the direction of Strasbourg - Kehl. Drive through Kehl, cross over the bridge "Pont de l’Europe" and follow the "Strasbourg centre" signs on the RN4 road. At the sign "Esplanade Robertsau" turn right into rue Alfred Kastler. The Vaisseau will be on your right just before the Danube bridge.

Coming by CTS tram or bus?

From Strasbourg city centre: hop on tram C and get off at the station "Esplanade". Then catch bus 30 (direction "Wattwiller"), and get off at the "Danube" bus stop just next to the Vaisseau.

From Kehl : catch bus 21 going to "Jean Jaurès". At the bus stop " Aristide Briand" change for bus 30 going to "Robertsau Sainte-Anne or Chasseurs" and get off at the "Danube" bus stop.

 

Coming by train?

From Strasbourg trainstation: hop on the tram C going to "Neuhof / Reuss" and get off at the station "Winston Churchill."

From Kehl trainstation: at the bus stop "Kehl-Bahnhof" catch bus 21 going to "Jean Jaurès". At the "Aristide Briand" bus stop change for bus 30 going to "Robertsau Sainte Anne or Chasseurs" and get off at the "Danube" bus stop.

Coming by bicycle?

  • From Strasbourg: from the place de Lattre de Tassigny (place de la Bourse) follow the bike path along the quai du Général Koenig (which then becomes quai des Alpes) until you reach the Danube bridge. Turn right onto the bridge towards "Neudorf Meinau". The Vaisseau will be on your left just after the bridge.

 

  • From Kehl: follow the "Strasbourg centre" sign while you are on the RN4 road (also known as Route du Rhin). At the sign "Esplanade Robertsau" turn right into rue Alfred Kastler. The Vaisseau will be on your right just before the Danube bridge.
