What if the Moon were only one small step away?
Is space exploration one of your dreams? Could you imagine living on the Moon? How would we do that? What would we do there?
Explore our three exhibition spaces to discover the answers to these questions through a fun and educational experience. Prepare yourselves for a perilous journey as you embark on the Springboard to the Moon. Step into an astronaut's shoes—or rather, their spacesuit, and explore a Moon base while managing your resources. Finally, make yourselves at home and imagine what humanity's future could look like in cities on the Moon. How will you play your part in this lunar adventure?
Recommended for ages 7 and up.
This exhibition was made possible with the kind support of VEGA France, the CNES, and HEAR.
The Moon exhibition is included in the Vaisseau admission ticket.
Did you know?
How many people have travelled into space? Since Yuri Gagarin’s flight in 1961, 781 people have travelled beyond Earth’s atmosphere. Among them, twelve American astronauts walked on the Moon during NASA’s Apollo missions between 1969 and 1972.
Some experiments
Sector A: Composure
Alert! One of the station’s astronauts is injured! Three emergency situations are presented to you. Pick the correct items from your first-aid kit. Be careful—each step must be carried out in the correct order.
Sector B: Growth Chamber
Eight stowaways have infiltrated the base! Find the eight microorganisms and enter their four-digit codes into the growth chamber to find out more about them.
Sector C: Dream
Delve into lunar stories! Pick a book-cube and scan its QR code. Take a seat and let the cube tell you the story of one five fictional city-states: Ogun, Bigan, Khounsou, Kali or Quetzal.
